Why does the editor warn that my image is low resolution?

The editor compares the uploaded image's natural pixel width with the design's printed width. If the effective resolution is below about 150 dpi, it shows a Low resolution image warning. This is a print-quality warning, not a statement that the file cannot be opened or saved.

Increasing the display zoom does not add detail to the artwork. Enlarging a small image can make edges or text look soft on the garment. If possible, return to the original source and upload a larger, cleaner version at the size you want printed. Vector artwork is often a better source for artwork-team preparation, although vectors cannot be edited in this browser editor.

You can still use the editor for appropriate adjustments, but inspect the image at 1:1 and read the printed-size information before saving. If the warning matters for a brand mark or small lettering, upload a higher-resolution source or leave a note for the artwork team to review.
