What custom text styles can I choose for names and numbers?

When each garment needs different wording, add a design and choose Individual Text, then click Change style to pick a style:

• Standard – your own text, one or more lines on each garment.
• Names & Numbers – a name with a large number underneath, as on sports kit (for example SMITH / 10). Names up to 50 characters, numbers up to 2 digits.
• Number only – one number on each garment, up to 3 digits.
• Initials – up to 4 letters (full stops allowed), always in capitals.
• Name + Job title – a name with a smaller job title underneath, ideal for staff uniforms.

Each style is only offered on the print positions it suits. For example, Names & Numbers is available on the full back, full chest and left chest. If a style isn’t listed for your design, the settings show which positions it can be used on.

Each garment then gets a labelled box for each line, such as Name and Number. You’re told straight away if an entry doesn’t fit, for example letters in a Number box, and the order can’t be placed until it’s corrected.

Our production team sets the print size for each style and position, so every name on your order prints at the same height. Very long names are reduced together so they all still fit.

If you change style after entering names, you’ll see exactly what will change before anything is updated. Choosing a style doesn’t change the price on its own.
